ADHD Diagnosis in the UK

In the UK, you have a legal right to choose the person who provides your specialist NHS mental health exams. But not all healthcare professionals are trained to diagnose ADHD.

Panorama has heard from whistleblowers and patients who claim that private clinics diagnose ADHD and prescribe drugs without proper screening. We conducted an undercover investigation to learn more.

What is an assessment of the project?

An assessment is a session with a psychiatrist to discuss how ADHD affects your life and determine whether medication might aid.
